The giant cruise company, which owns Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America and six other major lines, sponsors the series, which has been airing on Saturday mornings on ABC. It follows Corwin as he heads off ships in various port towns for a perfect day of adventure. You'll get much more than a glimpse of your favorite cruise ship with this series. Each of the 18 episodes, which originally aired in 2014, 2017 and 2019 on Canada's Discovery Channel, focus on a single cruise vessel in fabulously minute detail, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how they run.

There’s a look at the no-kids policy of Virgin Voyages in one episode, and one that’s dedicated to how ships manage to turn around all of the supplies they need and get them to the right departments onboard during port days. Another series entitled ‘The Cruise’, this one is more recent and focuses on Virgin Voyages, specifically The Scarlet Lady cruise ship. It has 8 episodes, all focusing on different parts of cruise life on this modern ship. A spinoff of well-known series "Mighty Ships," "Mighty Cruise Ships" features passenger vessels in the luxury, sailing, expedition and mainstream categories. Each episode takes viewers to a new destination -- such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean or Northwest Passage -- on vessels that are marvels of modern engineering. Peacock’s Premium account provides access to over 80,000+ hours of TV, movies, and sports, including current NBC and Bravo Shows, along with 50 always-on channels.
Despite its disastrous outcome, the famed White Star Line vessel continues to inspire cruise travel to this day and was the catalyst for its modern safety provisions in the form of SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea). It’s a good documentary, and definitely worth watching if you’ve ever cruised to any of the privately-owned islands in the Caribbean. But you do still get to see some parts of the cruising experience as part of the show, as Jane shares her expert knowledge of the cruise industry and chats to various members of the crew. There was a short follow-up series, called Return to…The Cruise that reflected on the original series from Jane’s perspective. There are 5 episodes of that show also available, but it consists of a lot of clips of the original.

What to Know About TV Channels on a Cruise
Bravo’s reality series Below Deck literally brings us below the ship’s deck – to behind the scenes of the luxurious experience of a ship. And though set on a fictional ship and filmed on a soundstage, “Legend of 1900” is a lovely tale of a world-class pianist who has never known life outside of the ocean liner he was born on, complete with a beautiful score from composer Ennio Morricone. The special offers an all-access look at the island, including how staff are trained to serve the cruise ship guests and the rehearsals and logistics that go into all the live entertainment and transporting guests to and from the island.
Also, the channels start at 11 instead of 2, like you would see on land. Then there are typically channels that you won’t recognize showing everything from kids programming to movies. The number of well-known stations (e.g. ESPN, Travel Channel, Discovery, etc.) can usually be counted on one hand. Local broadcast channels such as ABC, CBS, or NBC aren’t available either. One thing to keep in mind is that we’ve never seen the same channels twice on a cruise line.

Dating to 1997, it takes place on what's now the Marella Dream, a 1,132-passenger vessel in the fleet of British line Marella Cruises. Holland America fans will know this ship better as the old Westerdam (which was its name from 1988 to 2002). Just don't confuse it with the new Westerdam (Holland America likes to recycle names). You can see that there aren’t a ton of channels on Carnival — just about two dozen. In fact, many of the biggest cable channels aren’t available at all, like ESPN.
